Parking garage Friesenquartier

Development of a comprehensive rehabilitation concept as well as architectural and engineering services for planning, awarding and object supervision for realization
The non-public parking garage on Von-Werth-Strasse in Cologne was in need of fundamental refurbishment. Extensive maintenance measures were to restore the operability of the parking garage. CANZLER first prepared a comprehensive renovation and safety concept and then provided the architectural and engineering services for LPH 1-8 for the implementation of both concepts. This included, among other things, the planning and execution of the concrete renovation with structural strengthening as well as the strengthening of the passive and active structural and technical fire protection. In the second subproject, the security concept was implemented with preventive theft protection through gate and access control systems, video surveillance and integration of the neighborhood management system. For both subprojects, all planning services, tendering and awarding as well as construction supervision were to be provided.
