General planning of engineering services for extension and technical equipment for a modernisation and capacity extension of a computer centre during operation with subsequent cross-trade functional test
High security of supply and potential for capacity expansion is essential in today‘s IT in the financial sector. In order to ensure these aspects, the reconstruction and expansion of the in-house high-performance data centre had to be planned for a globally active bank with headquarters in Frankfurt am Main during ongoing operations. As general planner CANZLER provided all engineering services for the extension and the technical equipment according to work phases 1 to 9 HOAI for the upgrading of the existing infrastructure in the trades refrigeration technology, ventilation technology, electrical engineering, fire alarm technology, IT, fire extinguishing systems, building automation and finishing trades. Parallel CANZLER set up and implemented a pilot project in the development of new switch cabinet technologies in the IT sector. Subsequently CANZLER was responsible for cross-trade function tests and certified the perfect function in all operating situations.
