Village residential complex Neuried

Sensitive project development, urban planning, and architectural planning as well as implementation of a small-scale residential complex in a listed village centre.
In the historic and listed village centre of Neuried, new residential and commercial space was to be built on a contiguous area. Based on a project development for the investor, CANZLER provided the urban planning framework for the project in a sensitive and small-scale environment. The basis for this was the development of a modern, but locally typical and integrating building typology that responds to historical references without losing its design independence. The result was a small-scale ensemble of terraced houses, point houses and a multi-storey apartment building, which is skilfully integrated into the village situation with the listed existing buildings and offers commercial space to mix up the village structure.
