Renew of the General Directorate of Customs

Planning of the modernisation of the electrical building equipment and fire protection upgrade of a federal office complex.
The General Customs Directorate and the Education and Science Centre of the Federal Finance Administration at the Berlin office occupies a block of buildings along Grellstraße in Berlin. Due to considerable fire protection deficiencies and outdated building and electrical technology, the front building, number 2 of the complex at Grellstraße 18-24, had to be extensively renovated to meet the modern requirements of the federal authority. CANZLER planned the heavy current, telecommunications, and IT systems as well as the safety systems. In addition, the fire protection was upgraded, and the data network was renewed to Cat7 standard. Furthermore, the house alarm system was renewed. In the area of heavy current installations, a modern TN-S network was installed.
