Refurbishment and extension of Max-von-Laue secondary school

Modernisation of the building services in a secondary school with a grammar school upper level in a listed old building as well as a new building and outdoor facilities
The school building of the Max-von-Laue-Oberschule was built in 1912 in Berlin-Lichterfelde and is a listed building. Various extensions were added during its use. From 2011 to 2015, the building was extensively modernised and a new school building with an assembly hall and sports field was added. CANZLER oversaw the planning and construction supervision of all building services groups during the modernisation and new construction in compliance with the "Standards for the Construction of New Schools" of the Berlin Senate Department. This included the renovation and new construction of the building services, the installation of a voice alarm system and the security lighting. New stair lifts and lifts were installed to ensure barrier-free access to the school, and the technical prerequisites for IT-supported teaching were created.
