Planning of new office, hotel and retail buildings in the Gateway Gardens at Frankfurt Airport
On a former military site, Gateway Gardens is a modern office quarter in the immediate vicinity of Frankfurt Airport. A solution for offices, hotel and retail/catering was to be developed for the MK 17 site. The design provided for three independent structures to enable the realisation for different investors. The arrangement of the buildings on the site arranges the uses and places the retail trade parallel to the motorway. Hotel and office are self-confidently located at the inner access road and lead the visitors through their curved form to the central square in the middle.
