My Campus" office building

Planning of the technical equipment in the field of HVAC for the revitalisation of an office building complex with cooling via heating/cooling ceilings and heat supply via a local biomass district heating system.
At the high-tech location of Taufkirchen-Ottobrunn, MY CAMPUS offers office and loft space for research, discovery, development, and growth. The building complex consists of two L-shaped existing buildings of different construction years, which were previously used by an Airbus company as office and presentation space. With the transformation into a high-tech and science location, both buildings were developed into a multifunctional and sustainable rental office and research building for spin-offs and start-ups in the aviation and aerospace industries. CANZLER planned the technical equipment for the group of buildings during the revitalisation. The property was equipped flexibly and in various HVAC equipment standards. During the design, the different supply systems were planned from simple to full equipment. The final design provided for heating and cooling via heating/cooling ceilings and mechanical ventilation. The heat supply was provided by the local biomass district heating system. The cooling supply was implemented by means of a chiller and optional well water cooling. Ventilation is provided via central ventilation units with increased heat recovery. In addition, both properties had to be taken out of the Airbus company's supply and safety network without affecting operations.
