MAN showroom for concept trucks

Design and planning of a highly engineered hall installation for the presentation and processing of truck prototypes.
At the MAN plant in Munich, a showroom for truck concept studies was to be implemented in an existing industrial hall for prototype development. The hall is used to present current developments to potential customers and partners. At the same time, it is the central base for the development team. The latest and high-quality presentation, modelling and media technology had to be integrated. CANZLER was commissioned with the design and planning of the hall installation and implemented it as a room-within-a-room concept. The high-tech cube was installed as a steel skeleton construction in a section of a large production hall. The central element is the presentation room, which was equipped with high visual, acoustic and 3D modelling technology for quality control, but also for presentations. A roll-up door allows large equipment to enter up to a free height of 7.75 metres. Due to the high ambient noise level, the interior glass facades were subject to high sound insulation requirements. In addition, complete visual protection and darkening had to be provided. A meeting room, technically highly equipped rooms for development, visualisation and interaction with the prototypes and offices for development and innovation work were also to be planned.
