Craftsman house Lochhausen

Project development, design and implementation planning as well as construction management for a flexibly divisible commercial property for craftsmen with temporary residential use.
The new building is the newest part of the Lochhausen business park, where craft businesses, but also smaller commercial enterprises can rent space. The concept is based on a flexible structure with workshops and storage areas on the ground floor and offices on the upper floors. In planning the three-storey building, Huber Lischka took up the existing building structure of elongated blocks and continued it with a striking new red building. In addition to the required workshop and shop areas, the concept included a boarding house for incoming staff, a showroom, and a gastronomy unit. An important aspect of the leasing concept was the flexible divisibility of the spaces, which can be extended by rental units as required. The grey window bands on the upper floors, the grey window surfaces of the development and the access gates structure the building mass.
