Planning the technical equipment
The developer, Wilma Wohnen Süd GmbH, intends to realize the “Westspitze Güterbahnhof Tübingen” new-build project on the wastelands for the former freight rail station. A competition design proposal by Architekten Ackermann+Raff was adopted. The building will be a residential block with 97 units, a sub-section for retailing and a two-floor underground carpark. Special attention will be paid to the property’s economic feasibility, in particular as regards space efficiency, construction, maintenance and operating costs.
