Girls Day 2022 at CANZLER

Girls' Day is a day of action that takes place once a year to motivate girls and women to take up technical and scientific professions in order to counteract the impending shortage of skilled workers. On this day, young girls can gain an insight into occupational fields that tend to be male-dominated, so that they are fully informed for their future career choice.

In our Munich office, Karla and Helen from a Munich high school looked over our shoulders and got a taste of the profession of an Engineer for technical building equipment.

After a short introduction about studies, job description as well as the daily work of an engineer at CANZLER, the two 14-year-olds went deeper into the working world of an engineer. After a detailed analysis of a 3-D model of a revitalization of an office building in Munich Perlach, which we are currently realizing for ISARIA, they went to the construction site for "object supervision". Since the project is currently in various stages of completion, the two students were able to gather a lot of impressions and learn how a finished building is created step by step on the construction site from the planning.
