Schwabinger Tor North

Planning of the entire building services HLSE for the 1st construction phase, consisting of two high-rise buildings and the infrastructure cooling and sprinkler for the base building as well as planning of the technical equipment systems for cooling,
The total area of the Munich district development project Schwabinger Tor comprises a total of 89,000 m² of usable space for living, working, shopping, and living distributed over nine different buildings. Five internationally renowned architectural firms developed different designs, which form a new quarter according to an urban design through a clear setting along Schwabinger Straße. CANZLER planned the entire technical building equipment for two of the high-rise buildings and the entire infrastructure for cooling, sprinkler systems and drainage in the 1st construction phase of the North sub-project. CANZLER also developed a cross-quarter cooling supply with approx. 4 MW capacity, a sprinkler system with approx. 13,000 sprinklers and a fourth type of water supply for the entire site. Due to the size of the property and the high-rise residential buildings, a full sprinkler system was installed. In addition, the high-rise buildings were equipped with safety pressure ventilation for stairwells and fire brigade lifts. For the second construction phase, CANZLER planned the infrastructure of the irrigation and drainage and ELT supply.
