New Team Leader Architecture in Frankfurt am Main

CANZLER has filled the position of Team Leader Architecture in Frankfurt with Michael Sommer as of July 1, 2023.

 

Michael Sommer, a highly experienced general planner, is to accompany the integration of his colleagues from Höhlich & Schmotz in Mainz, who have been part of CANZLER since January, in addition to his personnel responsibilities as team leader in the architecture division at the Frankfurt site, and to consolidate and expand the cooperation between the two teams of architects on projects in the Rhine-Main region.

 

Michael Sommer was most recently head of the architecture and interior design department at Obermeyer Gebäudeplanung, where he was responsible for major national and international projects. For the Wiesbaden-based real estate developer and hotel operator Fibona, he worked as a client representative and project manager both nationally and internationally. Prior to that, he headed the planning department at a regionally active general planner for ten years; later, he was responsible for the business development division there.

 

In addition, Mr. Sommer is a trainer at the HAUFE Academy in the field of real estate business and management on the topic of "Sustainable real estate project development in existing buildings" as well as a speaker for the Chamber of Architects of Hesse and at universities. To date, he is a member of various real estate networks, such as crenet e.V., Germany's most experienced communication platform for corporate real estate management.
