Frankfurt am Main

Central registration office

Concentration of several areas of the Frankfurt public order office as a service "all about cars" in a new administration building and a technical annex
With the construction of a new central registration office in Frankfurt am Main, various services "all about cars" were brought together on a conveniently located site on the Rebstock. The geometric structure is divided into the volume by incisions that make the different functions such as entrance hall, casino or meeting areas readable. The foyer opens towards the car park with a wide incision and an inviting gesture. All around the foyer, the service areas are arranged on the ground floor, which are illuminated through the large window areas. On the 1st and 2nd floors, utilisation units of approx. 400 m² can be formed, in which the spatial structures can be flexibly divided. The white plastered façade with its uniform row of slender windows emphasizes the strict geometry of the house. Attached to the side is the inspection hall with three inspection lanes.
