Tunnel construction A17

The A17 motorway forms the southern bypass for the city of Dresden and is one of the most important transport links to the neighbouring Czech Republic. The tunnels along the A17 between Dresden Gorbitz and Dresden Südvorstadt are supplied, monitored and operated via four operational buildings. In order to ensure smooth traffic flow, the traffic and infrastructure facilities are constantly monitored and remotely controlled depending on the current traffic situation. CANZLER was responsible in the federal infrastructure project for the project management, the object supervision and the acceptance of the heavy current, fire extinguishing and ventilation technology as well as the smoke extraction.
