Solar park Senftenberg

Planning long-term energy supplies by using sunlight as the energy source.
The solar farm is located to the West of the town of Senftenberg in an area of re-cultivated open-cast mining strips. CANZLER planned the solar power generation using optimal exploitation of the area of 127 hectare available while considering the additional conditions to protect animals and the countryside. To achieve an optimal photovoltaic energy yield and thus increase efficiency and economic feasibility, project-specific studies were made of the choice of solar cells and inverters, the cabling and the location of the inverters and transmission stations. CANZLER was in charge of the project development and planning for the entire solar technology and the related technical infrastructure.
