Rebuild Dom Römer areal

Overall concept for the technical equipment- planning and realization of residential buildings as the reconstruction of historical old town houses and a public underground carpark as well as user fit-outs
Frankfurt’s Old Town has been redeveloped in line with the historical model. The result: 35 buildings, including 15 reconstructions of old town houses that were destroyed in World War II or in the post-War era – and 20 new builds chosen in a design competition as well as a public underground carpark. CANZLER advanced the facilities technology concept for the 35 old town houses and for the underground carpark and supervised execution of the project. Given the very many interfaces and small-sectioned buildings in narrow alleys, realization was in stages. As early as 2012, CANZLER started handling a sub-project for the technical equipment of the new subways station access at the Dom-Römer station.
