Police Headquarter - Commissioning management
Construction-accompanying commissioning management for a demand- and function-oriented operation during the basic repair and extension of the Düsseldorf police headquarter
The Police Headquarter in Düsseldorf at Jürgensplatz (PPD) was built between 1929 and 1932 and, together with the neighbouring Ministry for Building, Housing, Urban Development and Transport of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia (MBWSV), represents a historically significant complex of buildings under preservation order.
In order to preserve the historical location for the Düsseldorf police headquarters, an extension building and a two-storey underground car park were to be newly constructed and the basic renovation of the existing building was to be planned. During the refurbishment, conversion and new construction measures, which were carried out in two construction phases, the continuous service operation had to be maintained 24/7 on all days of the year.
CANZLER accompanied the commissioning management during planning, execution and after completion.
