Office Campus "Hub Eight" - Munich Airport Business park
Planning and site supervision for various office and laboratory tenant fit-outs during ongoing operations
The "Hub Eight" office campus at Munich Airport Businesspark in Terminal H is made up of eight individual buildings of the same typology. Particularly striking are the north-facing barrel-pitched roofs typical of the time of construction. The space was to be developed for three new tenants to meet their special requirements and needs.
CANZLER was commissioned with the planning and site supervision for tenant fit-outs in three different buildings, each with very different requirements. In addition to the conversion of a two-storey rental unit into an innovative work hub, more complex structures had to be integrated into the existing buildings for two other users. On the one hand, self-contained laboratory units were inserted into the open room structures under the barrel roofs and, on the other, presentation and training rooms were equipped with state-of-the-art technology. The extension was carried out during the ongoing operation of the entire facility and had to be coordinated accordingly.
