Office building for the German Bundestag
Updating of the design and implementation planning including the specifications and site supervision for the demolition of the existing building and for the new construction of the technical equipment of an administrative building
In Berlin Mitte, a new administrative building for the members of the German Bundestag is being built according to the plans of the Dresden architects CODE UNIQUE. The new building on the corner lot Dorotheenstraße corner Schadowstraße in the government district east of the Reichstag strikingly occupies the entire block. In addition to offices for members of the Bundestag and their staff, the building also includes various special IT rooms, an energy center for Bundestag properties, a canteen and cafeteria, and a doctor's office.
The starting point for the project was an arbitration report by CANZLER to clarify the quality of the execution planning. CANZLER then revised parts of the design planning, the implementation planning and the specifications.
CANZLER provided site supervision for the demolition of the existing buildings on the site and for the new construction of the technical equipment in plant groups 1 to 8. In addition, CANZLER planned the energy center for the project on a neighboring property.
