Office building for the German Bundestag
New planning up to the draft and participation in the preparation of a functional tender for the new construction of the technical equipment of an administrative building for the Bundestag administration including energy centre
In Berlin Mitte, a new administrative building for the members of the German Bundestag is being built according to the plans of the Dresden architects CODE UNIQUE. The new building on the corner of Dorotheenstrasse and Schadowstrasse in the government district to the east of the Reichstag occupies the entire block in a striking way. In addition to offices for members of the Bundestag and their staff, the building also includes various special IT rooms, an energy center for Bundestag properties, a canteen and cafeteria, and a doctor's office.
CANZLER prepared the design planning for the technical equipment of all plant groups for the administration building and for the adjacent energy centre and, based on this, was involved in the preparation of a functional tender for the handover to a general contractor.
CANZLER supervised the demolition of the existing buildings on the site and the construction of the new rainwater drainage and lift systems.
