New company headquarter for NOVALED

Dresden will be the seat of the new HQ of Novaled GmbH, a subsidiary of SAMSUNG. The ensemble of buildings consists of a heritage build that needs to be modernized and that will house offices and the canteen and a new-build technical facility, clean rooms meeting class ISO5 and ISO7 and labs. The total investment will be around EUR 20 million. CANZLER devised an FM concept for the new build; it formed the basis for developing the tendering for the facility management services. Alongside strategic consultancy, the organizational support as regards “make or buy” decisions, HR set-up, defining interfaces and processes was key. Clear calibration of the individual services and the definition of interfaces and responsibilities was achieved through joint workshops. On the basis of the requirements identified, standards were developed and tender documents prepared. Facility services were awarded in specialists lots. Until completion of the project, coordinating services to achieve usage permits was handled, in particular commissioning management. CANZLER also provided the adaptation of tender documents and the reallocation of facility services in subsequent years.
