General planning of the architecture and all trades of the technical equipment for the conversion
Deutsche Bank‘s IBC building complex, built in 2003, consists of three building sections and, in addition to the Investment Banking Center for 1,000 traders, provided space for a further 2,800 employees. CANZLER was already significantly involved in the overall project as consultant for the technical equipment and the operating concept of the new building. After a change of strategy at Deutsche Bank, the complex was sold to the Blackstone Group, which rented out the space on a smaller scale. For this purpose CANZLER was commissioned with the overall planning for the conversion of component A for ING Real Estate and Degussa Bank and of component C for Deutsche Bank AG. Due to the fire protection renovation of the twin towers at the Taunusanlage, Deutsche Bank needed a new headquarters with representative office space. The high requirements for security of supply in terms of infrastructure, power supply and IT as well as personal and property security were ideally met at the IBC site. CANZLER was responsible for the overall planning of the architecture and all trades of the technical extension for the reconstruction of 50,000 m² office, conference and fine dining areas as well as a canteen kitchen and supported the new owner in the budget planning as well as in the negotiations and feasibility studies of special tenant requests.
