German Association of Research-based Pharmaceutical Companies (VFA)
General planning - object planning and technical equipment - for the conversion of office space into representative and communicative working environments
The Association of Research-Based Pharmaceutical Companies (VFA) has been the main tenant at Hausvoigteiplatz 13 in Berlin for many years. The association's office space, which extends over several floors, was in need of a fundamental redesign. The competition won by CANZLER envisioned open and bright new office and work environments for the association, but also integrated the required individual workplaces in individual and team offices. In addition, the office floors of the main tenant were directly connected with an internal staircase to directly link the spaces on the floors.
CANZLER took over as general planner for the object planning and technical equipment for the revitalization. The desired open and communicative design was implemented in a combination of combined office units and individual offices. This division corresponded to the differentiated work processes of the user, as it created an undisturbed, personal working environment for the employees on the one hand and enabled an open communication architecture in the combi areas on the other. In the sense of a holistic refurbishment, the technical equipment was also renewed and adapted to the new room concept.
