Frankfurt Airport - Terminal 1 / Gate C

Planning services for the technical equipment for minimum upgrading during ongoing operations, for medium-term use of the buildings belonging to the gate
To extend the operating permit, extensive renovation work had to be carried out on the technical equipment of the buildings in Gate C in Terminal 1 of Frankfurt Airport. These included Building 183 (deconstruction, conversion and renovation of Gates C 7-9, Levels U1-E4), Building 186 (renovation of the porthole corridor, Levels E1-E3) and Building 202 (deconstruction, conversion and renovation of Gates C4-6, Levels U2-E4). CANZLER created the basis for a new building permit according to currently valid guidelines. This included fire protection measures, the renovation of the existing facilities and the structural separation of the facilities from Terminal 1 in order to be able to renew this gate at a later date without making any changes to Terminal 1. The work took place during ongoing operations and under increased safety conditions. As part of the measures, Building 183 was completely demolished.
