Expansion of ROSSMANN headquarters
Architectural and object planning as well as object supervision for the representative extension of the company headquarters of the ROSSMANN Group
The Rossmann Group's headquarters are located north of Hanover in Burgwedel. The representative new office building with 450 workplaces complements the existing ensemble of production, warehouse and administration as a new head building and is designed as a cubic five-story volume with an incised inner courtyard. The facade design with alternating window elements and recesses/loggias give the building its individual appearance.
The entrance into the building is emphasized by the circular event hall, which arches out of the cubature as a metal box next to the main entrance. Via the inviting reception area with views to the upper floors, to the inner courtyard and the light-flooded galleries of the upper floors. Here, individual furnishings and special lighting installations create modern spaces for employees and business customers. The connection to the existing administration building was established via a bridge structure attached to the side of the building.
CANZLER planned the administration building to be highly energy-efficient. The new building, with a primary energy requirement of 227.5 kWh/ (m²a), is sustainably conditioned via 68 geothermal probes, heat pumps and building component activation, and undercuts the requirements of the underlying ENEV by about 50%.
