Evonik - Production building with offices

On the outskirts of the Evonik site in Darmstadt, a structural solution for a production facility for specialty chemicals with associated office use was to be developed as part of a competition procedure. The design proposes various uses (e.g. production, laboratory, office) behind a uniform facade design. The facade should consist of movable expanded metal elements. The office use should be attached to the top floor. A generous roof terrace would have created an attractive outdoor space. Due to new requirements the competition was not decided.
