Eurotheum - Computer Center

General planning for the conversion and expansion of the data center
After the ECB moved out, CANZLER provided the planning services to equip the property, originally designed for a major tenant, for a multi-tenant letting. As part of the redesign of the building, the data center located on the 7th floor was also extended. The new data center operator Cloud & Heat was technically advised and supported by CANZLER in the planning and object supervision of the reconstruction measures of the approx. 500m² large area. For this purpose, efficient water-based server cooling and waste heat utilization were planned, which were installed without significant changes to the existing building and integrated into the existing building at defined integration points. CANZLER took part in the evaluation of offers, commissioning and support of the executing companies, carried out the quality assurance during the execution and installation planning and coordinated as object supervision all trades, especially the measures for the integration into the building infrastructure. CANZLER acted as consultant for the architecturally appealing design of the interior of the 7th floor as well as for quality assurance, coordination of deadlines and plausibility checks of costs and accounts.
