Eurotheum

New concept for the building, incl. the basic fit-out and maintenance, the computer center and the redesign of the lobby
The Eurotheum comprises a 31-story high-rise and a 6-story lower building with a listed facade. Floors 22 to 29 are home to a hotel, with a bar and serviced apartments for long-stray guests. Part of the high-rise is used as a computer center. CANZLER supervised the tenant fit-out for ECB when the building was first used. After the ECB’s relocation, CANZLER provided planning to redesign the property, intended for a major tenant, to accommodate a larger number of tenants over smaller areas respectively in floors 1-21 and upgrade the office areas to the state of technology and the flexible uses of a modern office world. Initially the basic fit-out requiring permits was realized, so that rental and tenant fit-out could go ahead swiftly. Parallel o the basic fit-out, the technical equipment was maintained, such as the fire alarm system and the building automation. The latter included renewing the security-relevant controls for smoke extraction and replacement of the automation units and information focal points in the main supply systems. CANZLER handled the planning and site supervision of all measures. CANZLER provided specialist advice for the new computer center operators and supported it in realizing the conversion work with site supervision. As part of multi-tenant letting of the office floors, the new design of the lobby, incl. the conference zone, catering area and reception, was realized, with CANZLER responsible for the planning and site supervision of the technical equipment.
