Feasibility study and general planning for the modernization and reconstruction of the Deutsche Telekom headquarters
The existing headquarters of Deutsche Telekom AG forms its own city quarter on the former Regierungsallee and, in addition to around 1,800 workplaces, the executive board area and various conference and meeting rooms, also houses a canteen and various shops.
Deutsche Telekom AG decided on a so-called "refresh" to refurbish the complex. In the process, the existing cell structure was restructured into a modern office landscape with zones for confidential work and informal meetings as well as for relaxation and recreation.
CANZLER prepared feasibility studies for modernisation and conversion, including upgrading user comfort in terms of air-conditioning technology. As general planner, CANZLER was commissioned with the planning of media technology, structural design, acoustics and fire protection for the executive board and regular office areas, in addition to the object planning and planning of the technical equipment. The modernisation measures and conversions in the office areas as well as in the central technical areas are being carried out during ongoing operations by means of interim measures and interim relocations.
