Oberursel
Congress and conference hotel "Villa Gans
Planning for a 4-star hotel in a 10 hectare protected natural area including the historic main building
Within the framework of an invited realisation competition, a solution for a 4-star congress and conference hotel near the centre of Oberursel in the Hochtaunuskreis was to be developed. The approximately 10 ha large, park-like property is a natural monument. It is bordered by adjacent wooded areas of the Oberursel city forest and by meadows, pastures and gardens. The integration of the existing historic main house "Villa Gans" built in English style is an essential part of the study. Here an optimisation of the internal organisation was carried out. The new hotel building is planned northwest of the listed villa in accordance with the B-Plan specifications. The entire area offers a great potential for recreation for visitors and guests and should therefore be made accessible to the public.
