Office building Kennedyallee

Revitalisation of an office building under monumental protection
Hoechst AG built an office building in two construction phases in 1955 and 1965 on a corner plot of land on Kennedyallee. the office building, now classified as an individual monument, was revitalized to offer modern office space at one of the important entrances to Frankfurt and at a prestigious address. CANZLER planned two modern and variably divisible utilisation units per floor. In order to provide all workplaces with sufficient daylight, the load-bearing walls along the centrally located corridors were generously opened with room-high openings. The façade was completely renewed and restored in compliance with the valid EnEV without changing the dimensions and materials. The windows were replaced by box-type windows with integrated sun protection.
