Berlin Brandenburg Airport

Planning and construction process monitoring to support claims by the developer for consultancy, planning and implementation deficits
The new Berlin-Brandenburg Airport for the German capital is destined to attract all the air traffic in this region. It is one of the largest transport infrastructure projects in Germany and Europe. After the planning office went bankrupt, on behalf of the owner CANZLER monitored and audited the planning as regards quality and quantity and its implementation during the construction phase. Planning and schedules were analyzed and critical workflow and weaknesses recorded in the relevant reports. As part of change order management, CANZLER examined the entire planning process, highlighted weaknesses, cross-checked calculations for the technical equipment and provided regular risk evaluation reports.
