AMD / Global Foundries

AMD Saxony LLC & Co. KG, now Global Foundries, manufactures processors in Dresden. The company employs 3,000 staff members in the plant – the manufacturing expertise is absolutely world class. To expand the production and development capacities, AMD erected a multipart building complex including clean room labs, office and conference spaces with a total of 20,000 m². It was connected to the existing utilities. CANZLER planned the technical equipment and supervised the realization of all measures. In the existing building CANZLER managed the conversion of the entire HVAC system to double up outside air exchange without any interruption to ongoing production flow.
