SOCOTEC Germany is strategically positioning itself for the future. With a clear focus on innovative business areas and the strengthening of its management structures and
competencies, the company is laying the foundation for long-term success. SOCOTEC Germany's services are geared towards making the built environment sustainable, legally compliant and efficient. In this way, the company supports its customers in implementing the energy and environmental transition over the entire life cycle of the structures.
“We not only want to meet the current requirements of our industries, but also to respond to future developments now. As a planning and consulting company, CANZLER plays an important role in this strategy, and we are doing everything we can to jointly expand the strength and innovative power of our company,” explains Ludger Speier, CEO of SOCOTEC Germany.
Manuel Kaufer appointed to management – further management levels added Manuel Kaufer, who has been with CANZLER for more than ten years, is moving up to join the management team in place of his recently resigned fellow managing director Andreas Broßmann. He had previously held the position of divisional manager of FM consulting with Mr. Kaufer.
In his new role, he is responsible for finance and IT as well as the FM consulting business area. The graduate real estate manager has proven industry expertise in FM consulting and real estate data management. As part of the professionalization of commercial and IT structures at CANZLER, he is also responsible for implementing AI processes.
“We are delighted that Manuel Kaufer, a highly experienced and long-standing colleague, has joined CANZLER's management team. With his entrepreneurial thinking and foresight, he will successfully continue the chosen course within the SOCOTEC Group as a member of the management team,” comments Andreas Masiorek, Managing Director at CANZLER.
In order to do justice to the established structures within the company, responsibility is being spread across several shoulders and the second and third management levels are being strengthened with managers from the company. In all four business units
FM Consulting, Architecture and Technical Building Equipment, Project Management, and Sustainability and Energy Consulting, central divisional management has been transferred to other employees. At the same time, engineers and architects at the regional level share responsibility as divisional and team managers.
Mathias Behrens takes over as head of the Sustainability division
With the newly created Sustainability division, the company is underlining its commitment to sustainability and signaling the central importance of this topic as a strategic focus. The aim is to further expand this business area in order to meet the growing demands for sustainable development and climate-friendly real estate operations. Particular focus is also placed on the transformation of existing real estate, since there are often greater levers for increasing energy efficiency and reducing emissions here than in new construction.
With Mathias Behrens, a proven sustainability expert with extensive technical knowledge heads the Sustainability division. Behrens, who has been working for CANZLER since 1994, has extensive expertise in consulting, planning, property monitoring and expert opinions on technical facilities. He is also a certified DGNB auditor and is very familiar with the standards of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB).
“We are delighted to have Mathias Behrens as head of our Sustainability division. With his many years of experience and knowledge, he will help us to further develop our sustainable business strategies and drive forward innovative, future-oriented projects,” continues Ludger Speier.
