CANZLER completes second company acquisition in 2021

CANZLER has completed its second corporate acquisition this year. In Munich, CANZLER has acquired the office of Zickler und Jakob Planungen, effective January 1, 2021. In line with its expansion strategy, CANZLER has thus established a complete general planning team with experience in residential, administrative and commercial construction at its Munich location.

The engineering office for technical building equipment Zickler und Jakob Planungen exists since 2006. With its currently 17 employees it offers all services of technical building equipment and electrical engineering. In addition to planning heating/ventilation/air conditioning, plumbing, sprinkler technology, electrical engineering and elevators, engineers and technicians undertake lighting design, energy studies and simulations, profitability as well as operating and maintenance cost optimization for commercial, public or private clients.

"With the acquisition of Zickler und Jakob Planungen, CANZLER is expanding its corresponding regional clout at the Munich location with around 30 employees," says Andreas Broßmann, one of the managing directors of CANZLER GmbH. "With Zickler and Jakob, we are gaining a highly experienced engineering firm that has a command of the requirements in office, administrative and residential construction. The technical orientation of the engineering firm enables us to provide the electrical engineering service profile ourselves. As a result, we will be able to carry out general planning projects in the region even better in the future with our own personnel. Such synergy effects benefit our clients in particular, since they have only one contact person."

In Munich, CANZLER had already purchased the eight-person architectural firm Huber Lischka Architekten, retroactive to January 1, 2021. In the middle of next year, CANZLER plans to consolidate the employees, who were previously spread across three offices, into one shared space. Initially staffed only with TGA specialists, the location in the Bavarian capital has existed since 2013.
