Solar Power Plant, Senftenberg

Tasks and Solutions

Long-term securing of power supply by use of sunlight as energy source

Kind of Object and Use

Solar power station with 175,000 Photovoltaik modules for an installed total output of 26.3 MWp

The area of the solar power station is located to the west of the city Senftenberg and belongs to an area of recultivated mining industry surfaces.

Canzler planned the solar electricity production under optimal utilization of the available surface of 127 ha with consideration of the additional requirements of the animal and landscape protection.

In order to obtain and increase the efficiency as well as economy to optimal yield of the photovoltaic installation, project-specific investigations were accomplished for the purposeful selection of the solar cells and inverters, for wiring as well as to locations by inverters and transfer stations.

Canzler was incumbent on the project development and planning the complete solar technology and all associated technical infrastructures.
