Planning for highest possible room flexibility through a modular room control concept

New building of the Investment Banking Center and office complex with about 90,000m² of rental space for 1,000 traders and about 2,800 further employees

For the regulation of the IBC complex and its technology with extremely high demands on the supply guarantee, Canzler planned, placed and supervised the implementation of the building automation and room control system with 90,000 information.

There were high demands on the flexibility of the office areas: The position of walls should be changeable in no time without technical intervention. It should be possible to convert the area into single, team, group and open-plan offices.

Canzler developed a self-sustaining room control strategy in comprehension of heating, ventilation and air conditioning, lighting, glare shield and sun protection, automatic window control and presence sensors. For room changes, the object manager can redefine the axis of the rooms according to the appropriate room automation systems (without changing the programming). Shortest assembly times at highest possible execution quality has been reached through pre-fabrication of all building components.
