Multifunctional conference and event centre

On its 37th anniversary, the popular event house Luise-Albertz-Halle was closed. Within 17 months it had to be converted and extended into a multifunctional conference and event centre.

Prior task was the perpetuation of the building cubature. At the same time expatiating changes have been undertaken to fulfill the demands of a manifold cultural programme. Therewith the requirements of comfort and successful disposition expected by visitors, the public, actors and presenters are provided.

Canzler develops and anticipates an extended overall concept for the modified future uses in consideration of the existing buildings and technologies and of major building changes.
