Support of the location management with surface consolidation and settlement of 2,500 employees, introduction of integrative document management

Real estate with over 80 buildings, halls for development, production and tests, workshops and offices with associated airfield

The concentration of specialist divisions of the EADS increases the number of employees at the location Manching from until now 1,500 by 2,500 to 4,000.

Therefore new buildings and extensions of existing buildings became necessary within the current borders of the real estate, e. g.:

  • additional offices
  • additional areas for electronic laboratories
  • extension of the canteen and kitchen
  • generation of additional parking facilities
  • adjustment of the infrastructure

Because of the direct proximity to the surrounding airstrip, which are particularly used by helicopters and fighter aircrafts, special requirements had to be considered to security and to the safety regulations.

Canzler supported the location management for the building projects with the emphasis observance of qualities, costs and appointments as well as perception of the tasks of building owner in consultant function.

Canzler defined qualities and standards for planners as well as implementing companies and developed bases for an integrative document management with CAFM standards for real estate properties of EADS.
