Berlin Brandenburg International Airport (BBI), with around 970 ha and a capacity of 27 million passengers per year

Since September 2006, the airport Berlin Schoenefeld has been extended as the new main Airport Berlin-Brandenburg International (BBI). It is planned that by 2012 all of the air traffic will be diverted from the Tempelhof and Tegel airports, which will then subsequently be closed.
From the start, this new airport has been one of the largest transport infrastructure projects under construction in Germany and the largest airport construction site in Europe.

Canzler Ingenieure monitors the design work in terms of quality and quantity, and implementation during the construction phase on the site for the owner. Analysing time schedules for design and construction work, delivers critical path overview or failure reports.

As part of the claim management Canzler investigates the entiry design process, discloses design failures and checks calculation of technical equipment.

In the owners task force, Canzler strategically advises the owner in regards of costs, time and quality of the investment and delivers risk assessment reports frequently.
