The ensemble “Hallen am Borsigturm” has been erected in 1999 on a former industrial site in the north of Berlin. It consists of a shopping centre with about 120 shops, several office buildings, a hotel and a multi-storey car park.

Canzler was incumbent on the planning process and site supervision of the building control management system renewal, which has been executed with the existing building automation system.

Due to a free selection of brand unspecific solutions via BACnet, the measures could be awarded by a competition. Thereby, optimal solutions and highest possible functions at low investment and consequential costs could be realised compared to the existing products and brands.
