Former NVA-hospital with several buildings; nowadays clinic with 370 beds for military and civil use

The military hospital has a central location in Berlin on the site of the former garrison hospital in the district Mitte. The Bundeswehr is extending the former NVA-hospital to a 370 bed hospital comprising 170 beds for the city of Berlin. On this occasion the buildings are being renovated, refurbished and newly built - partly at the same time, partly one after the other.

Canzler oversees the new building of special examination departments, the rearrangement of bedroom buildings, operation theatres and the realisation of energy concepts as well as the rearrangement and extension of the building automation of the entire real estate. All these measures take place during ongoing operation of the hospital.

Canzler leads all planning and supervision phases for technical engineering including kitchen installations, media supply and laboratory and medical equipment.
