Transaction advisory services / owner representation for international fund investors

Office and administration buildings with 7,600 m² and 11,000 m² GFA; Commissioned by: Portico Management Ltd., Ireland

Canzler’s main areas of responsibility included transaction advisory services for assistance with the takeover of the property as well as project management for protecting owner rights and responsibilities towards the seller.

The two buildings, belonging to Portico Management Ltd., Ireland, consist of the Cognis main offices in the RheinPark industrial area in Monheim and the European headquarters of Fujitsu Microelectronics Europe GmbH in Langen.

To evaluate risk and protect the rights and responsibilities of all parties, Canzler is conducting an extensive review of lease and purchase agreements.

An interdisciplinary team comprised of architects and engineers is in charge of quality management and controlling for construction work and tenant improvements to be completed by the seller.

In addition, as the owner’s representative, Canzler assists in the approval of construction work performed by the seller and participates in discussions regarding construction and supports the new owner in mitigating approval risk.
