Tasks and SolutionsSecuring of interests of lessor and leaseholder opposite to planners and executing companies during comprehensive refurbishment Kind of Object and UseReconstruction of an inner-city 5*-Hotel with conference centre and recreational areas The AMB Generali Immobilien refurbished at Stuttgart the former hotel Intercontinental with 281 rooms (thereof 48 suites) as well as conference-, recreational and catering trade areas for a new leasing to Le Meridien. During the modernization of building and technology the fire protection was brought onto the state-of-the-art. The planning, awarding as well as execution of the performances were completed within a year in a tight time regime. The owner still negotiated during the refurbishment with different new leaseholders. Therefore, a high flexibility was necessary for the modernization concept and the processing in order to be able to realize all requirements of the new tenant in time and economically. Canzler was responsible within the overall project management for the project controlling of all trades of the technical equipment. Canzler coordinated the interfaces between the lessors performances (basic repair, fire protection) and the tenant development (conversion on higher quality standards for the 5*-hotel-classification).
